Pumpkin patch

leave a comment »

Today we picked our pumpkins
From a farm down the way
We went out to the fields
Where all kinds of pumpkins lay

Mine is looking scary
Junior has a tiny one
Betty Sue’s pumpkin is round
While Davey’s weighs a tonne.

Mama’s squash is skinny
Daddy chose one that’s fat
Nana’s has some spots
While Papa’s looks a bit flat.

We thanked the farmer for our finds
Rolled them up towards the car
But now there’s no room for us
Did we go a pumpkin too far?
